BLACKETT ANGUS
(435)660-0630
Justin Blackett is a third-generation cattle producer and owner of Blackett Angus, based out of Nephi, UT. He has been raising cattle for as long as he can remember. Justin got started in the purebred Angus business in 1998. As one of the original members of Intermountain Genetic Alliance, one of the highlights of Justin’s career was selling a herd sire to Jim Felton with Felton Angus in Springdale, Montana. Justin’s operation focuses on low birth weights, growth, carcass and maternal traits.
BETTS ANGUS
(435)724-1165
Betts Angus was started in 2014 with the hope and desire to raise top quality angus bulls and heifers. We started off with just a handful of cows, and today we run about 75-80 purebreds. We strive to keep up with the latest genetics in the breed using some of the top bulls from top breeders around the country. We are a family run operation based out of Neola, Utah.
MILES HIGH ANGUS
(435)823-3277
Miles High Angus started out as a commercial herd in 1975 in Utah, and progressed into a registered seedstock herd in 1995. Our cattle have learned to traverse the dry conditions of the high mountain ranges of Utah. Our home ranch resides at 6250 feet elevation and summer range is around 8000 feet elevation. Good feet and legs are a must here- considering how much they have to travel. If they can’t travel, they can’t stay.
We have always focused on females that raise big, fleshy calves and breed back each year. Cows with udder problems, and poor dispositions, are culled from the herd. We believe that before you buy a bull, you need to check out his mother.
Our family always welcomes visitors to the ranch. Give us a call anytime!

RAISE EM RIGHT
(435)823-7752
Kelly Crozier’s love for cattle began with his grandfather, Charles Crozier. He ran a ranching operation that Kelly hopes to emulate. Grandpa was a man of honor and integrity, and was hard working and industrious. He had a great eye for Hereford cattle.
As a young man Kelly received his first Hereford heifers from his dad and grandpa. The cattle industry runs deep in our family’s veins. Now Kelly’s sons and grandchildren help with all aspects of our family ranch. We named our ranch Raise Em Right because of our strongly held belief that children are blessed by the opportunity to learn the rewards and work ethics that are taught best by living on the ranch. In the mid-nineties, we bought our first Angus cattle.
As our ranch progressed, we embarked on a journey with donor and embryo cattle. This has been rewarding and has allowed us to make great genetic improvements and create uniformity. We have dedicated our lives to being a family that loves and supports each other. Life just feels better when you can breathe fresh air and walk among the cattle with your posterity. It’s amazing what we have learned from each other, and how fast things change but also how some things can remain the same as long as you have given your best. Unity and effort bring great rewards. Our goal is to produce cattle that others will be proud to own the same way we are proud to raise them.
BEAR CANYON ANGUS
(801)420-2320
Evan Ault has had a love for cows ever since he was a little boy watching The Man From Snowy River. He purchased his first calf at the young age of 8 when he bought some day old Holstein bull calves from Bill Wright in Elberta, Utah. He never got it out of his system and lucky for him, he married a girl from Richfield whose dad owned some cows. With some coaching from his father in law Marvin Bagley and his High School Ag teacher Bob Gappmayer, he set out on a road trip with them both to Hobson, Montana to attend the Basin Angus, Stevenson Genetics and Stevenson Diamond Dot Female Sale in search of some registered Angus cows. With calving ease, good growth and maternal traits in mind, the start of Bear Canyon Angus began. With over a decade of Artificial Insemination and Embryo Transfer, the herd is bigger and better than ever. Evan’s kids love being with the cows as much as he does. He is blessed with a beautiful wife, a beautiful daughter and three handsome sons. Rest easy purchasing bulls right here in Utah with confidence that they will perform with the best of the best in the country. The quickest way to improve the genetics of your herd is through good quality, genetic tested bulls from Intermountain Genetics Alliance Bull Sale.
Rylee Mecham
(435) 299-2346
Double Arrow Ranch is owned and operated by Brad and Rylee Mecham along with their families. Raising cattle has been a life passion for us. In 2015 we purchased some outstanding registered black angus heifers from Schaff angus ranch in North Dakota. To really step our game up in the industry, along with purchasing these top shelf heifers we used them in our embryo and AI program to base our herd around. Looking to raise angus cattle and bulls that mature quick with longevity, that preform from the mountain to pasture to feedlot. With the focus on our bulls having added length and mass and depth. With natural fleshing ability being able to pass these traits on to their offspring. Our females we focus on fertility, longevity, good utter with a big focus on maternal and foot quality.

LaDell Brinkerhoff
(801) 694-2041
On paper, Kings Peak Angus was started in 2011, but our ranch started long before that.
In 1908 the ranch was homesteaded.
The ranch has been a sheep, dairy, and beef operation and over the years has seen many different changes and challenges.
For as long as LaDell can remember his family has raised black angus cows and strived to use good bulls that would produce quality females for the next generation and calves that you are proud to take to the sale in the fall.
As LaDell has gotten more involved, he has taken advantage of the AI technology, trying to select higher quality bulls and further his family’s vision of Angus cattle. More recently he has become interested in pap testing and raising cattle for high elevations. Our ranch sits at 7000 ft. As more research is being done on feedlots at lower elevations he has become more interested in pap scores in relationship to overall cattle health. We are focused on a cow that the rancher can count on having a calf on her own and taking care of it. We also want a calf that is quick to get up and nurse. We have noticed that a moderate birth weight not on either one of the extremes and good calf vigor is the best recipe to get the calves started right! We are also focused on a cow you can handle if there are problems.
We like working with great cows an even better family and friends. LaDell’s grandparents, Junior and Norita Tidwell along with his mom, LaDonna got him started early on with 4-H show heifers which started his angus herd. He still enjoys working alongside them on the ranch. He also enjoys raising his family around the cows and working with his extended family, friends and neighbors and would like to thank them for their support in reaching his goals.

Double JR Simmentals
(435) 512-8455 or Josh Tolman (435) 770-4120
Double JR Simmentals is owned by Jay and Karen Rinderknecht and family of Paradise, Utah.
The cattle business has been a great opportunity for our family. We enjoy showing our livestock at a few select fairs, have done quite well and have met many wonderful cattle people along the way.
In 1978 my dad became interested in a new breed of cattle, Simmental. The Simmental was aggressive in growth and hybrid vigor and my father was told by the beef specialist that he could help out his Hereford herd by cross breeding. We began to AI to Simmentals and the first year we increased our weaning weight over a hundred pounds. We have been raising Simmental and Simmental influenced cattle since that day using embryo transfer and AI to the best sires available and use the best clean up bulls possible. We stress calving ease, growth, fertility, moderate frame, and functional cattle that are able to travel long distances in rough mountain ranges for both forage and water during the summer months. We feed hay from the first of December until sometime in May when we go to grass, depending on the winter.
We have been selling bulls via private treaty for over twenty years with a purpose of standing behind our cattle. Now it is an honor to be able to have an annual bull sale along with great family members. A good family is one of the most important blessings in life. Our goal is to bring good functional bulls and heifers to a sale of which we are proud.
Please feel free to call anytime.

Rowser Angus & Simmental
(435) 374-1416 or Kelly Rowser (435) 770-5906
Rowser Angus & Simmental is owned and operated by Kasey and Jalyn Rowser of Wellsville, Utah and Kelly and Ila Rowser of Millville, Utah. We run 100 head of registered Angus and Simmental mother cows. The herd was built on a strong Angus base while infusing the best Simmental genetics available.
Our cattle are moderate in frame, easy fleshing with a strong emphasis on eye appeal and useful epds. We run our cows during the summer on a U.S. Forest permit in Northern Utah where they will range from 5000 to 9500 feet. We believe that the backbone of our operation is the mother cow. She must calve un-assisted, nurse an above average calf and re-breed on grass in a 60 day window. ALL of our cows are bred A.I. or used as E.T. recipients in that 60 day period or they are culled, no questions asked.
Along with family members, we hold an annual production sale in March.
We welcome any visitors to stop by and visit.

Mower Charolais and Angus
Located in Altamont, Utah Mower Charolais and Angus began in 1966 when
we acquired a small herd of Charolais cattle. We then decided to try our hand
in registered Charolais in 1971. In 2010 we added Black Angus into our herd.
Our search has emphasized calving ease, moderate frame, proven genetics,
and structurally sound cows with quiet dispositions. Cows must have maternal
qualities, good udder structure, and milk well. They must also raise a good
calf and breed back quickly
