Annual Basin Bull Preview and Trade Show

If you call yourself a cattleman and haven’t attended the Basin Bull Preview and Trade Show you have been missing out. This event is truly for you!

Come and look at 350 bulls from several of the top breeding programs located in Utah and Wyoming.  While you are here, mark down all your favorite bulls.  Then buy with confidence knowing that even if you buy from multiple producers whether through a sale or by private treaty, we can help arrange for all of them to be shipped to you at the same time. If you prefer, we can also arrange for your purchased bulls to be fed here until turn out in the spring. Here at Gillman Livestock we take great pride in the development and well-being of the cattle in our care. We have a reputation of producing bulls that do not break down and are able to go to work on day one. We know that this is because we make sure every bull is fed in a way that promotes soundness and fertility. We also know the importance of low stress handling in our operation and want to sell and promote cattle that are easy for anyone to handle.

Over 100 private treaty bulls will go on sale the day of the event starting at 11:00 am, but there is no need for you to bring your trailer as feeding arrangements will be made until pickup at a later date or they are delivered to you. Our private treaty bulls are provided by the following seedstock programs; Double Arrow Ranch, Mower Charolais and Angus, Kings Peak Angus, Rafter 1 Ranch, Bastian Red Angus, Conley Moon Angus, Lisonbee Angus, Sled Runner Cattle Company, Probst Ranch, KMH Angus, and Rock Canyon Cattle Company.

You can also preview bulls featured in several upcoming spring bull sales presented by B&C Angus, Intermountain Genetic Alliance, R & R Genetics, Miles High Angus and Burton Simmental.

Our feedlot is always open to those who wish to look at the bulls in our care, but only at this event will all of our seedstock producers be available to personally talk to you about their animals and answer any questions that you may have.
